Meet Nicole Birnbaum | Co-Founder and Creative Director of FlipRings.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Birnbaum and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, what do you attribute your success to?
One of the most important factors behind our success with FlipRings is the connection that we have with our followers. All of our ideas are filtered through and approved by our team of 50 college ambassadors to make sure we are staying current and on trend. By posting relatable content, it keeps the Instagram very personal and allows us to connect with our followers on a deeper level. With interacting, I post Instagram polls and questionnaires to hear feedback and new ideas from our followers!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am definitely very busy balancing FlipRings and school. I am constantly thinking of new ideas for FlipRings. Whether that is a new ring or design idea, I am always on the lookout for inspiration.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Two of my favorite restaurants here in Charleston are Indaco and Lewis Barbecue. If I had a friend visiting I would definitely take them to either of these! I am also a big coffee person. Some of my favorite cafes are Harken, The Daily and Babas.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my friends and family! My family has helped me every step of the way from packing orders, to finding suppliers, they have my back. My friends have been there since the first ring arrived at my dorm freshman year. They have been there every step of the way listening to my ideas, no matter how crazy! I am so grateful and thankful to have such an amazing support system.
