We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicholas Fiorentino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicholas, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
For some reason, The Meatery has just been a magnet that has attracted amazing people. The reason our brand is so successful is incredibly simple; our customers. We love them, and they love us. For some reason, good old fashioned Customer Service has been deprioritized by many companies and we have used this to our advantage. It is our absolute mission to provide customers with not only an exceptional product, but a memorable experience.

What should our readers know about your business?
My career has certainly been an unconventional one. After graduating college, I worked in sales for a few years. I was fortunate enough to work underneath some fantastic managers that taught me a lot. I wasn’t the corporate type, however, and at age 24 I quit my job to found my first company. While I’ve done a lot of different things over the years, they have all had a strong focus on Internet Marketing. I believe my extensive background in Marketing has helped to set The Meatery apart and the reason that our focus on Customer Satisfaction is so obsessive. There is so much power in having a Customer that absolutely adores your brand, and our efforts are always rooted in ensuring that no matter what economic challenges we face we will never neglect those that have supported us.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a big golfer so I do hope my visiting friend likes to golf and that we could play Torrey Pines or San Diego Country Club, where I am a member. As for restaurants, San Diego has so many incredible hidden gems! Jeong Won BBQ Buffet provides amazing Korean BBQ. Humberto’s for tacos. The nice thing about San Diego is that you don’t really need an itinerary, you can just hop in your car and always find something new to experience!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Without a shade of a doubt my family. I was lucky enough to be taught by my parents a variety of skillsets that have helped me immensely in business. My Mother taught me kindness and respect. My Father showed me the importance of having your customers love you. I am beyond grateful for them.
