Meet Muffin Joy | Adventurous Foodie Dog Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Muffin Joy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Muffin, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
My husband and I thought it would be fun to start an Instagram account for our little girl dog, Muffin. We wanted to share photos of Muffin with the world and her adventures, which is how we came up with her Instagram handle, @Adventureswithmuffin.
We like to travel several times a year and always bring Muffin along with us. We enjoy sharing our travels with others and bring them along for the hikes, the landmarks, the views, the food and sightsee. It has been such a joy to let others be apart of her life and ours.
With social media platforms like Instagram, it allows for us to be creative with each post and reel that we make. We like to add a bit of humor with the content that we produce and enjoy engaging and interacting with Muffin’s followers that are from all parts of the world.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a content creator has been a fun experience but was a self taught process. It is good to let your creative side grow and recommend to be true to the brand/ image that you want to portray. We choose not to post content that is too political or controversial, as we do not want to offend or upset anyone. Starting out is very easy, all one has to do is start a free account with Instagram and start posting photos and/ or videos. If you find that you like certain accounts for their content, you may want to figure out why you like their posts as a way to get inspired and give you some direction as to where you want to go with your account.
Adventureswithmuffin is a fun dog account with posts that brings humor and laughter for anyone and everyone. Muffin is a sweet little girl dog that has plenty of personality to bring a little bit of joy to you every day.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We love how dog friendly San Diego is and would want to share a few great places to visit, that include brunch at Snooze Eatery, a fun round of mini golf at Trappers Mini Golf at The Loma Club, a nice afternoon at Balboa Park, a visit to Dexter’s Deli for some dog friendly treats and cute pet accessories and then head around the corner to a favorite bookstore of ours, Verbatim Books. If it is a hot day, I would recommend grabbing a delicious popsicle at Zonkey Paletas in North Park. And then ending the day by having dinner at Cesarina, which has a nice covered dog friendly outdoor patio.
