We had the good fortune of connecting with Moritz Strube and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Moritz, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor for me is being consistent. I keep a balanced schedule even when im busy, i manage to make time for family, music and my buisness.
Also i love being around inspiring and motivating people to make sure i stay focused and productive.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Eversince i started listening to westcoast music i’ve been fascinated by the production. I am from Germany and the music scene here is much different.
Overtime i kept listening to the westcoast music scene and decided i want to be a part of it,
so i started producing in 2017.
When i started seeing results in a short period of time, i’ve realized i can make this more than a hobby.
From that point on i’ve been keeping it consistent and kept improving my craft.
Sometimes it can be challenging being consistent and inspired.
To overcome this i like to take some time off, take vacations, workout and spend more time with my family.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being from Bochum, Germany we got alot of bars and clubs in the downtown area. My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in town is called ‘Hanoi’ they serve the best food in my opinion.
We got alot of other cities next to each other, so i like to go expolore them from time to time.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I recieved alot of help from my fellow producers. I love the Cali producer scene because it’s pretty welcoming and supporting.
Special shoutouts go to Fresco, Jozu, Adil, Tommy etc.
Also my family is very supportive in my vision.
