Meet Larry White: Owner operator towing

We had the good fortune of connecting with Larry White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Larry, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to build a future for my children and working for someone else was not the way to go. 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are a towing company that works hard for our customers every time. Our Motto is Signature Towing “ Signature Service”. And we stand behind that. When we respond to a customers call a lot of times they are in a panic being broke down sitting on the side of the road and it can be scary at times for them. We make sure we respond fast to make sure they see there safety is our top priority. Sometimes we run into situations where the vehicle did not need to be towed it was a simple issue that we where able to handle and get them. Going again with out having the cost of there car being towed and get them sent the way. Being in the towing business is not a easy business to be in especially over the last year with the pandemic and lockdown, less cars on the road means less business for us we had our struggles making it thru that but because of the community and strong customer base we where able to do it thanks to them. Signature towing is not just a towing company we try to set are self’s apart and work very hard to do so.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our first stop would definitely be the beach more then likely Coronado, then of course would have to take them to the harbor maybe go on the Horn Blower take a ride around the Harbor, we would also have to go on a Half day fishing boat so they can make some good memories fishing. Then take them out to LaJolla show them the caves also to Sunset cliffs to watch our beautiful sunset.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The community and loyalty from our customers. They are the ones who have stood behind us and allowed us the opportunity to provide quality service. There continued loyalty is what has keep us in business especially in these hard times during the pandemic.
