Meet Kristina Litovchenko | Blogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristina Litovchenko and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristina, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
At 19, I started working at a small and new clothing store, handling everything from sales to marketing strategy in social media. I loved it and felt energized despite working six days a week. That time I realized how obsessed I’m with creativity. When I moved to the USA and felt homesick, my psychologist suggested I pursue something I enjoyed to build confidence and fight with my sadness. I turned to social media, which helped me connect with the community and feel more integrated.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a blogger covering beauty, home decor, health, fashion, and restaurants. I create daily content with a keen eye for detail. For example, I recently reached out to a well-known company to address discrepancies between their website information and the actual product, sharing my findings with my followers.
My audience has grown organically through my reels, with my most popular one reaching 8 million views and leading to a PR opportunity with a major brand.
Blogging requires effort and discipline, especially when results are slow. Many people give up early, but staying focused and continually improving your content is essential. I suggest figuring out what motivates you. Be honest with yourself and understand your goals. For me, blogging is similar to exercise in terms of discipline. I once set a goal to exercise regularly and found that hiring a personal trainer significantly improved my commitment. I realized that my sense of accountability is strongest when I’m answerable to someone else. This principle applies to other areas of my life, including blogging. Just as a personal trainer helped me focus on my fitness goals, support has been crucial for maintaining my blogging routine. Using external accountability has proven to be a key factor in achieving my goals. Accepting who I am and leveraging my strengths has been central to my success.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d take my friend on a Bay Area adventure, starting in San Francisco. We’d stroll the pier, admire the Golden Gate, and visit Alcatraz. For dining, we’d enjoy Slavic cuisine at Cinderella Bakery and a Michelin-starred experience at O’by Claude Le Tohic. Drinks would be at Shelby’s Rooftop Lounge for its great view and cocktails.
In San Jose, we’d explore Valley Fair Mall, shop at Eataly, dine at Mastro’s, and enjoy Santana Row. Highlights there include coffee and dessert at Cocola Bakery, wine at Vintage Wine Bar.
Next, we’d visit Stanford University in Palo Alto, explore the Stanford Shopping Center, and dine at the elegant RH Rooftop Restaurant. Finally, I’d take them to Napa Valley for wine and to Carmel’s Refuge for a relaxing getaway.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my grandmother, who always told me I was beautiful and helped build my self-confidence from a young age. She encouraged me to explore opportunities, from magazines to model agencies, even though it was all in good fun. Her unwavering belief in me instilled a strong sense of self-belief and taught me that nothing is impossible.
