We had the good fortune of connecting with JulieAnne Edmond and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi JulieAnne, is there something you believe many others might not?
We are often told not to wear something because of our size/age or other ridiculous reasons. I believe that as long as it fits well and you feel good in it then you absolutely should wear it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe in supporting my clients through the entire process of finding their style. I don’t give them what I think they should wear and then leave them to figure it out, I help them develop their own style and even after I leave them I am available for help via text/email.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Smorgasbord LA on Sunday, most definitely. It’s a great place to meet interesting people and try new foods. We’d enjoy a Drag show at Hamburger Mary’s in Long Beach then visit the beach for an afternoon in the sun. Then, we’d catch a Symphony at the Hollywood Bowl one of the nights. Since we all have kids, we’d probably make it to Disneyland for a day or two. Then, to finish the week off, we’d visit the Getty Villa to enjoy the view and the art. And, I would have to add a stop to Mel’s Diner to any vacation.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My daughter Delilah is not just my inspiration but also my assistant and model, without her Zane Styling would not be here and Miranda from Zynnyme has always been a great support to me and my dreams. I am thankful to them both.
