We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Haddock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
We started Entering Titletown with an extremely open mind. In other words, we didn’t really have an end goal at the beginning. We were simply looking to serve Boston fans as a relatable & reliable news outlet. Fast forward a couple of years, and we’ve started a weekly podcast, opened an apparel shop, & have become one of the more well-known names in Boston’s social media space. It’s certainly not something I could have imagined.

We’ve kept that same mindset we started with. Our goal has and will always be to serve Boston sports fans in the most unique way possible. Provide the news, analysis, & discussion, and let them dictate how expansive this can become. We love Boston sports. That’s why Entering Titletown was created. To change that mindset would be to change how we operate. I don’t like the idea of that.

No matter how much we grow, no matter what opportunities are presented, our end goal is to never forget why we started it all in the first place.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In the social media landscape, it’s a necessity to separate yourself. If you don’t, you’ll get swallowed up. Even more importantly, as a brand that focuses on reporting news, speed & accuracy are everything. We have always prided ourselves on being on top of everything that goes on in the sports world. It’s a 24/7 job. There’s no “off the clock”. But we embrace that.

I think I’m most proud about my personal growth with Entering Titletown. Starting as someone who had hated hearing their own voice, I’m now podcasting on a weekly basis. Four years ago, I couldn’t tell you the first step in a graphic design project. Now, I’m enamored by the profession. Not only do I feel proud of what we’ve built, but I’m proud of what I’ve built up within myself as well.

Entering Titletown has no off switch. There is always something to post, always something to talk about, & always more room to grow. So, it’s not an “easy” thing to do. But what’s “easy” or “hard” is so subjective. I think one of the main lessons I learned is about determination. To do this, you have to be determined in some way. I’ve certainly thought about walking away. But, I’ve always shook it off, because I love what I do. Since 2018, Entering Titletown has been working nonstop towards its goals. If anyone reading this takes anything from our brand, I want them to know our determination is second to none.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, Jordan Moore. Moore helped found Entering Titletown years ago, and without his persistence, the brand wouldn’t be anywhere close to where it is now. He’s now moved on to even bigger things, but I can’t thank him enough for his partnership and work ethic.

Second, the entire Boston sports community. Whether it be the listens we receive on our podcast to the reposts of our content on social media, we don’t grow without them. We don’t exist without them, frankly. So to simply just “dedicate” our brand to them is an understatement. They give me the outlet to do what I love.
