We had the good fortune of connecting with Jena Baird and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jena, what principle do you value most?
I feel passionate about holistic fitness & a sharing how to make wellness a lifestyle that is sustainable. How well are we breathing, how well is your range of motion, strength, flexibility, mindset,  and how well are you functioning in your daily tasks. Helping people reach their optimal wellbeing & supporting others on this journey lights me up.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’ve been teaching for 20 years. There were many years I worked in my craft purely on passion and not much profit. I was determined and dedicated my time to continuing to build classes out of a community center, working at gyms, corporate offices, to build a following until I opened my studio. The studio was created and built with innovative ideas I didn’t see anywhere else. I built a space that offered classes, workshops, events, wellness programs, open houses, mini festivals/fairs, a spa with wellness treatments, and when I opened up my second studio I continued to add to the services.  I added a 2nd classroom so we had a heated classroom with state of the art healing infrared radiant heat, Plus we have a large regular temperature’s classroom. We were one of the first studios to offer weekly sound baths, I offered a 200 hr integrated holistic yoga teacher training program and I lead retreats in a variety of location. And we are very proud of the many businesses we team up with and collaborate with. We love offering yoga, sound baths, and retreats at vacation homes, corporate retreats, hotels, resorts and more. We offer cold/hot therapy events with ice baths & sauna.

I strongly value the connections made and feel honored to team up and collaborate in this community
All along the way there was creative ideas, hard work, reaching out for support and building a team of teachers
to inspire our community with classes that motivate and inspire others on their wellness journey.
Recently we expanded and have added a wellness lounge and boutique to the studio.
Also a sister program/business was developed called 805 Adventure. Inspired by getting people outdoors, hiking, on waterfall adventures, hot springs, stand up paddle boarding, rock climbing, surfing, and more.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love the Neighborhood juice bar in walking distance from the studio. We tell students about this spot, with fresh juices, açaí bowls and more The central coast has lots of hikes, hot springs, and beautiful beaches to explore
There lots of wineries with live music

And after surf camp in morro bay we love going to High tide

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am grateful for the many books, mastermind programs, my teacher training programs and hours of study in energetic anatomy, mindset work, yoga, breathwork, sound healing and more I’m incredibly grateful for living on the Central coast, my family, mentors, and connection with many other businesses and heart centered educators and teachers, and the students I’ve met
