Hi Jen, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind Pegasus’s success has been our unwavering commitment to putting our customers first while bringing Silicon Valley-level innovation to an industry that’s traditionally been underserved by modern technology. When we founded Pegasus, we didn’t just aim to create software that would work; we set out to build a platform that truly transforms the experience for organizers and competitors alike.

Listening to our users has been at the core of this mission. We’re deeply invested in gathering feedback and using it to improve the product quickly and meaningfully. By maintaining close, open lines of communication with our community, we’re able to innovate at a pace that directly reflects what they need—whether it’s adding new features or refining existing ones to better serve them. This feedback-driven, customer-first mindset is foundational to everything we do, and it’s what allows us to keep Pegasus relevant and valuable in a dynamic industry.

Our branding also plays a big role in this success. With bright colors and a modern design, we aim to make Pegasus approachable and vibrant—a tool that doesn’t just fulfill a need but also excites and engages our users. Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Pegasus is an equestrian technology company, and we’re building the first truly modern platform for horse show organizers. Unlike the legacy systems that many in the industry have relied on for years, Pegasus was designed with a fresh, Silicon Valley-inspired approach to make event management simpler, faster, and more intuitive. Our platform enables organizers to run horse shows with ease, letting them focus more on the event itself and less on tedious administrative tasks.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to our users. We don’t just stop at providing a product; we actively engage with the equestrian community to understand their needs and adapt quickly. It’s this continuous feedback loop that keeps us evolving, improving, and ultimately delivering real value to organizers and riders alike. One of the things I’m most proud of is seeing our community of users grow and knowing that we’re not only making their lives easier but also helping elevate the entire equestrian industry.

The journey to where we are today wasn’t easy, and it still comes with its challenges. Transitioning an industry that’s been accustomed to legacy systems for years isn’t simple. But with every hurdle, we’ve leaned into innovation, persistence, and a belief that the industry deserves better. By actively listening to our users and adapting quickly, we’ve built a brand that they can rely on and feel a part of. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that building something meaningful takes resilience, a willingness to learn, and the courage to push boundaries.

We want the world to know that we’re here to make things easier, brighter, and more accessible for everyone who loves and participates in this sport. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to dedicate this shoutout to my mom, who introduced me to the horse world and riding from a very young age. She’s a lifelong equestrian, a passionate rider, and even an author of a horse care book called Common Sense Horse Keeping.

Growing up, I saw firsthand her dedication, her deep love for horses, and the respect she has for the equestrian community. Her guidance and encouragement fueled my own passion for this world, and her support enabled me to compete at the upper levels in eventing on my own horses.

My mom’s influence goes beyond just introducing me to horses; she instilled in me a commitment to the community and a desire to make a positive impact. She deserves so much credit for sparking the journey that has ultimately led to Pegasus.
