We had the good fortune of connecting with Gina Starbuck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gina, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
One of the most important things I’ve done as a parent is create a space where my child feels truly seen and honored for who she is. I’ve made it a priority to nurture her unique ways of being, giving her the freedom to explore and express herself fully. We’ve approached her with compassion, understanding, and a deep respect for her individuality. By doing this, I believe we’ve empowered her to grow into her own person, confident in her truth and connected to her inner magic. This, to me, is the most impactful gift I can give her—the space to be unapologetically herself.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is all about guiding people into the heart of their own healing through creative expression and embodiment. As a spiritual mentor and embodiment expert, I help others access the inner healer within them, allowing them to live more liberated, empowered, and magnetic lives. What sets me apart is the unique blend of spirituality, creativity, and practical embodiment I bring to my offerings. My approach isn’t about following a set of rigid rules or one-size-fits-all techniques; it’s about tuning into your own truth, your own rhythm, and letting that guide you on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.

I’m incredibly proud of the community I’ve cultivated—a space where individuals feel safe to explore, express, and evolve. One of the things that excites me most is witnessing the breakthroughs and transformations that happen when people realize they hold the power to heal and elevate themselves.

Getting to where I am today has been a journey filled with both light and shadow. It hasn’t always been easy. I’ve faced moments of doubt, fear, and even a dark night of the soul where I questioned everything. But it was in those challenges that I found my strength and my voice. I learned that the only way to truly move forward is to lean into the discomfort, embrace the lessons, and keep going, even when it feels tough.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of authenticity and integrity. When you show up as your true self, unapologetically, you attract the right people and opportunities into your life. I want the world to know that my brand and my work are deeply rooted in this principle. My story is one of rebirth, of rediscovering my magic, and of sharing that light with others so they can do the same. I believe in the power of embodiment as a pathway to more health, more wealth, and more opportunities, and I’m here to guide those who are ready to step into their fullest expression.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d curate an itinerary that blends relaxation, adventure, and a touch of magic. We’d start with a visit to the Malibu Gives sanctuary for some grounding and peace, followed by a Ecstatic Dance on Venice Beach—nothing like dancing by the ocean with the most incredible community to feel alive!

We’d definitely have a nourishing meal or two at Amara Kitchen in Altadena, a cozy spot that’s perfect for catching up over wholesome food. Oh and Thai food at The Palm’s Thai in Hollywood.

One day would be dedicated to pure relaxation at the Olympic Day Spa, where we’d unwind and rejuvenate. I’d also host a private sound healing session at a stunning yoga space in La Canada, offering a deep, shamanic journey.

We’d definitely hit the trails for a hike or two, immersing ourselves in nature.

In the evenings, we’d sip cacao by a fire, sharing stories under the stars.

This week would be all about deep connection, exploration, and indulging in some of the best experiences LA has to offer. There might even be a moment for the infamous Hailey Bieber smoothie at Erewon and we would find live music somewhere too!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to my daughter, who has been the catalyst for profound growth and change within me. From the moment she came into my life, she called me to journey into the depths of my soul, inviting me to reparent my own inner child and embrace every facet of my being. She has pushed me to lean in, own all of my magic, and step fully into my power. My intention for her is that she grows up knowing that she is seen, honored, and deeply loved for exactly who she is. I want to leave a legacy for her—a legacy of authenticity, courage, and unapologetic self-expression—so that she, too, can walk her path with confidence and grace. She has given me the gift of rebirth, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

I’d also love to shoutout and honor my own parents. For their love, support and devotion.

And to every person who has ever really SEEN me, and even mores, those that have given me the gift of being your teacher or guide, THANK YOU! You light me up in ways I could never fully articulate.
