Meet Fidencio Reyna III | Founder & Operator Mission Minded: Moving, Deliveries & Junk Removal

We had the good fortune of connecting with Fidencio Reyna III and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fidencio, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always wanted to work for myself, and when I came across a service in the marketplace where I could be confident in my capabilities, I just continued to double down on myself and create a brand that people can truly trust to get the job done.
The name “Mission Minded” came from my wife, she would always say, “you are in Mission Mode”. Which is true, I needed a daily task, I needed to feel purposeful. I believe, or I should say, I KNOW there are many of us that need this in our lives. I come across men eager to work, all the time. Work is good for our soul!
I started with a goal of just being able to pay my bills and when i started to exceed that goal. I knew I could start developing something that I can pass on to others and eventually create an opportunity that I know can bring stability in their lives.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud that we have developed a brand that attracts great workers and gives customers a peace of mind that they are in good hands. Also, for the passed 6 years 90% of our jobs have come from referrals. Organic growth is the key to stabilization, and when you start off with no monetary capital but your hands and your heart. It was imperative for me that I show the customer that I am Competent, Capable and Reliable with the job they are paying me to do. If they get a great experience from me at reasonable rate, then they would tell others. Word of Mouth has been my success in this business.
Mission Minded will evolve in to great things and nothing great will ever come easy. Entrepreneurship is not easy when you are learning the ropes everyday. I never worked for a moving company, I only started one. Having a Mission Minded attitude and the ability to adapt and overcome is how I was able to overcome the challenges behind me and its what I will use to overcome the challenges that lay before me. Because the alternative wont get you to where you need to be.
Mission Minded’s motto is “Assisting in securing life’s transitions”. When customers call us, something in their life is transitioning, whether getting new couch or throwing away the old one or uprooting and moving to new place, we as people are in constant cycles of transitioning. We are here to assist in making it a little less stressful for them.
As for the great workers we bring on our teams. Some come for temporary work, some end up staying for years and creating a career out of it. We want Mission Minded to be a stepping stone for people trying to get their next level of their life. Whether they are stepping forward, which we hope for, or back word. Mission Minded is a stepping stone, none the less.
For me, leaving the Marine Corps after my 8 years of service, was a confusing time. I didn’t know where I could be of value to the civilian world, but I did know I was valuable. I jumped around in the Network Marketing space along with colleges, universities, Art Institute, Personal Training, Massage Therapy, just trying to figure it out. Like many of us.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, God, for always protecting me through this journey of life.
My wife, for always being there, showing support, grace and love during this rollercoaster of entrepreneurship.
My parents, for setting the example of what it is to come from nothing and have a heart of abundance.
The Marine Corps, for great leadership and instilling a mindset to always adapt and overcome.
Network Marketing, for introducing me to the power of personal development.
