Hi Erin, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Other than deciding to work for myself, the most important decision I made was moving to San Diego from my hometown in Northern California to start a life with my husband and buy our first home. This move was a game-changer for a few reasons:

New Opportunities: Had we not moved here to buy our first home, I wouldn’t have been exposed to the vibrant real estate market realized the opportunity. It has been the perfect place to authentically grow my business and meet new people.

Support System: Starting this new chapter with my husband gave me a strong support system. His encouragement and our shared dreams made the whole journey much more enjoyable and manageable.

Personal Growth: Moving to a new city pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow personally. It taught me to be resilient and adaptable, which has been really helpful in my career.

First Home Purchase: Buying our first home in San Diego gave us stability and helped me understand the buyer’s perspective better. This experience has been invaluable in my real estate work.

Overall, moving to San Diego was a major milestone that contributed to both my personal and professional growth, and it’s been a fantastic adventure ever since!

I owe the biggest thank you to my husband for supporting me and encouraging me to make a career shift. If it weren’t for his love and help getting through the growing pains of starting over, I don’t think I would have been able to do it all and feel so confident in my choices.
