We had the good fortune of connecting with Eliza Niaki and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eliza, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to create a career that felt good on the inside, not one that just looked good on the paper and inspired others to do the same. I wanted to create a space for my team to have a voice that could be heard. Being a woman owned and operated business, we write our own rules and inspire others to follow. We are proud to celebrate our diverse teams’ artistic abilities and how they create magic for our clients. At BEL, we are the best team because we all have the same amount of authority, just different types of responsibility. BEL Event Productions developed into a place where cant’s turn into cans, and dreams turn into plans.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
BEL Event Productions first started 15 years ago, as an event planning and coordination company. In 2015, BEL set ourselves apart from the competition with the addition of event design, rentals, decor and floral arrangements to make it the true one stop shop! BEL Event Productions ensures that our team will use all of our resources to save time, money for our treasured clients and to make all events seamless. BEL Event Productions got to where we are today through our perseverance and determination to our clients and team no matter the circumstances. BEL has learned along the way that we have the pleasure of being the guiding force for our clients, assisting them in turning their dreams into unforgettable memories. Being a part of their most enchanting day is a privilege we treasure deeply. The heartfelt connection we share with our clients and what we create together is the most rewarding aspect of our work.

Our mindset and mission revolves around continuing to keep trying, keep moving, keep inspiring, keep helping, keep believing, keep dreaming, keep hoping, keep loving, you got this!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Entertainment and hospitality are integral parts of my culture. I will certainly ensure to incorporate my friend’s interests into our weekend itinerary. Given the opportunity, I would begin the day with breakfast at a charming mom and pop shop in San Clemente. From there, I’d proceed along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), making a stop at the scenic Laguna Beach. We’d then enjoy a delightful happy hour at one of the rooftop bars, sipping drinks and relishing the sunset. As the night falls, I would definitely make it a point to take her to a sophisticated bar in Newport Beach for a great evening. Certainly, the next day would be dedicated to exploring Hollywood and strolling down the iconic Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. If my friend is up for a road trip, I would enthusiastically take her to Santa Barbara. We’d indulge in a full day at the beach and explore the vibrant State Street. The following day, we’d continue our journey by visiting Solvang, where we’d savor pastries and coffee at the charming local shops. Absolutely, our itinerary would lead us to Hearst Castle, a truly remarkable destination that ranks among the most captivating places to visit in California. Continuing along Highway One, I would arrange for a night’s stay at Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, a place of serenity and natural beauty. And for a memorable meal, the Phoenix Cafe would be my favorite choice for either lunch or dinner. Certainly, a scenic drive along the 17-Mile Drive in Carmel would be a treat for everyone. Following this, we’d continue on to our last destination, the dynamic city of San Francisco. I would hope by the end of their trip, they would feel like they’ve seen all the best parts of California, truly experienced everything it has to offer, and made memories that would last a lifetime.
