Meet Dana Lagomarsino, MBA | Business Consultant & Strategist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dana Lagomarsino, MBA and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dana, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
At Circadian Business, my mission is all about empowering women to build sustainable businesses that bring real freedom—financially, creatively, and personally. From my own humble beginnings, I’ve experienced how transformative entrepreneurship can be for women who crave independence, balance, and a sense of purpose. By helping female entrepreneurs streamline their operations and reclaim their time, I’m all about getting them to strut confidently into their roles as business owners. Every woman who grows her business doesn’t just create a success story; she sparks a ripple effect, opening up new opportunities and inspiring others in the community. I truly believe that empowered women uplift entire communities, and it’s my greatest joy to witness these incredible transformations unfold.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets Circadian Business apart is that we view every business as a unique ecosystem—where each part works together to create a thriving whole. And, we’re all about staying calm through the inevitable ups and downs of entrepreneurship by making space for what and who we love, traveling, and simply enjoying the freedom of being a modern-day badass.
What makes me most proud is that I’ve built and sustained a successful business going on eight years. Now, with my MBA combined with years of real-world experience, I genuinely guide other women entrepreneurs to their own version of success, often doubling their incomes, with some clients even achieving a 10x increase!
But getting here wasn’t easy. I graduated with a Fine Arts degree in 2008, right when the recession hit. Despite working my way into upper management by being resourceful AF, I still faced rejection when applying for roles equivalent to positions I was already excelling in, simply because my degree wasn’t in business or marketing. Now, after years as an entrepreneur and earning my MBA, I’ve reached a point where I no longer have to convince anyone else of my worth; I’ve proven it to myself.
The resilience I’ve cultivated through entrepreneurship is rooted deeply in my background in wellness and strengthened by my experiences. If there’s one thing I want the world to know, it’s that even when the path feels incredibly challenging, your goals are worth pursuing. Those late nights, moments of doubt, and constant hustle can ultimately translate into true financial freedom. Trust me, it’s worth it—and I’m here (and excited!) to show you exactly how.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend visited for the week, we’d kick off each day at local coffee or brunch spots, followed by a stroll along the coast to soak in the sun and refreshing ocean mist. We’d spend our days relaxing at a beautiful spa, wine tasting at local vineyards, and exploring some of my favorite spots like Sunset Cliffs, Balboa Park, Potato Chip Rock Hike, and The Meditation Gardens in Encinitas. Evenings would be all about relaxing: sipping cocktails on a rooftop bar, restorative yoga with sound healing, catching live music, or dancing while vinyl DJs spin at Sound By The Sea.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to the amazing community of women entrepreneurs right here in San Diego. These women have been my support system, sounding board, and inspiration every step of the way. We’ve leaned on each other through the ups and downs, shared referrals, exchanged honest feedback, and created a space where vulnerability leads to growth. Thank you for your generosity, authenticity, and encouragement. We’re stronger together, and I’m deeply grateful for the sisterhood we’ve cultivated.
