We had the good fortune of connecting with Cristina García and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cristina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process in the beginning was very hesitant. Would i have enough clientele to keep my business going? Would my work be noticed at all? Anyone that has a business can tell you that in the beginning it’s never the easiest. Through time and hard work my thought process changed. Bottle after bottle i noticed my growth in my work. I became confident in what i love to do, my artwork speaks for it self.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My bottles are very captivating to the eye, i add what is missing. What sets me apart from others would have to be my ability to bring the customers vision to life, and put that on a bottle. I give there bottle a personality of their own. Hard work and dedication have gotten me here professionally ,but it has not been an easy road at all. What I’ve learned is that in this line of work you have to have an amazing support system to get you through the good time and bad times. Tina’s Tipsy Bottles is a safe space where no ideas is to big or to small to make happen.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m from the city of Vista California. A day with me would look something like this. We would start out the day with breakfast at The Original Pancake House off South Melrose Drive i would definitely order the strawberry waffles with some eggs & sausage. After breakfast have a nice walk at Brengle Terrace Park & visit the Alta Vista Botanical Garden off Vale Terrace Drive where we would enjoy the beautiful scenery & fresh air. From there have some lunch at Filiberto’s Mexican Food on E Vista Way i would definitely recommend the carne asada fries & nachos. After that delicious meal we would go catch a movie at Cinepolis on Main Street, grab some popcorn, candy and enjoy a movie. Then go up the street to enjoy some sushi for dinner at Mikkos Sushi on Main Street. For desert we would go to Pepper Tree Frosty on South Santa Fe Ave which has been there for year you can never go wrong with an old fashion ice cream cone. To end the night we would have to grab some drinks at The Vista Village Pub on Main Street.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My support system is everything to me, to be frank i owe them my all. I would not be here without them. My Village so i call them have been my rock through this whole experience. I wish i could name you all by name but for now i will keep it simple & short. First to whom my heart belongs to my beloved boyfriend thank you for being there night & day to help me and inspire me also for your eternal love. Second to my family whom has loved me endlessly & supported me effortlessly. Third and finally to my best friend & small circle who has always supported my dream and there infinite love & friendship.
