Hi Craig, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well, it was a culmination of years of experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and a burning desire to make a positive impact. After spending over two decades in the construction industry, I saw firsthand the challenges clients faced when dealing with contractors. There was a lack of transparency, accountability, and genuine care for the client’s needs. I wanted to change that narrative. I wanted to build a company that prioritized integrity, ethics, and accessibility. Starting my own business allowed me to set the standard for excellence and ensure that every client interaction was marked by respect and professionalism. Plus, having the flexibility to spend time with my family and coach my boys in sports was a huge driving force behind taking the leap into entrepreneurship. So, with a clear vision and a strong set of values, I embarked on this journey to create a construction company that not only delivers exceptional results but also fosters trust and satisfaction among our clients.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business is more than just a construction company; it’s a reflection of our core values and commitment to excellence. What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to transparency, integrity, and accountability in everything we do. We strive to not only meet but exceed our clients’ expectations, ensuring they feel respected, valued, and taken care of throughout the entire process.
One thing I’m particularly proud of is the culture we’ve cultivated within our team. Each member shares a passion for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, and it’s that shared vision that drives us forward every day.
Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. Like any journey, there have been challenges along the way. However, it’s through these challenges that we’ve grown stronger and more resilient as a business. We’ve learned to adapt, innovate, and persevere in the face of adversity, always keeping our focus on delivering exceptional results for our clients.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the importance of communication and collaboration. Building strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members is essential for success in this industry. By fostering an environment of open dialogue and mutual respect, we’ve been able to overcome obstacles and achieve remarkable outcomes together.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Absolutely! Picture us chatting over coffee about all the cool spots in San Diego:
So, first things first, you gotta check out La Jolla Cove, it’s breathtaking! And while you’re there, swing by The Cottage for breakfast, their French toast is out of this world. Then, hop in a kayak and explore the sea caves – it’s a must-do!
Oh, and speaking of must-dos, you can’t miss Balboa Park. It’s like a city within a city, with museums, gardens, and the San Diego Zoo! Grab lunch at Panama 66 while you’re there, they’ve got killer burgers.
For some serious beach vibes, head to Mission Beach. And don’t forget to hit up World Famous for lunch – they’ve got the best fish tacos in town. Oh, and if you’re into surfing, this is the spot to catch some waves!
Now, for a taste of history, check out the USS Midway Museum. It’s pretty incredible walking around a real aircraft carrier. And after all that exploring, Carnitas’ Snack Shack is the perfect spot for a laid-back lunch.
For a night out, Gaslamp Quarter’s the place to be. Cafe Sevilla has amazing tapas and live music – you’ll love it!
And, of course, you can’t leave without catching a Padres game at Petco Park.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely, there are so many people and influences that have played a significant role in shaping my journey. Firstly, I have to give a huge shoutout to my family, especially my wife Francine and my three boys. Their unwavering support, love, and understanding have been the foundation of my success. They inspire me to be the best version of myself every single day.
I also owe a debt of gratitude to my mentors and colleagues in the construction industry. Their guidance, wisdom, and shared experiences have been invaluable in helping me navigate the challenges and complexities of entrepreneurship.
Additionally, I want to recognize the entire team at our company. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence are the driving force behind our success. Without their passion and expertise, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Lastly, I want to acknowledge the power of literature and continuous learning. There have been countless books, articles, and resources that have inspired and educated me along the way. One book that stands out is “Good to Great” by Jim Collins, which taught me the importance of disciplined thought and action in achieving long-term success.
So, to my family, mentors, team, and the wealth of knowledge available to us, I extend my sincerest gratitude and appreciation. We truly are standing on the shoulders of giants, and I am deeply thankful for each and every one of them.
