Meet Cindy Tiny” Morales | The Tiny Diaries “

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy “Tiny” Morales and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cindy “Tiny”, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I use my growing platform and social media channels to spread positivity and laughter. I also use it to highlight small businesses and content creators in the latino/BIPOC community. I love celebrating and connecting people to each other.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started social media as a creative outlet and as a challenge to myself to break out of my introverted shell. Something that I started out for fun has brought so many amazing people into my life and so many wonderful opportunities. I’ve gotten opportunities to work with brands, model, and collaborate with other creators. Many things I thought could never be possible and only because I doubted myself. But through all these experineces I’ve learned to trust myself more and trust the process. I would like to let other content creators know that in the beginning you might feel like you are not getting anywhere but just put in the time and work and everything will start flowing. You have to plant the seeds, water them, and watch them bloom when the time comes.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love exploring my county and in the process I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite places so I have many options! Starting off with food I always love to take visiting friends and family to my favorite mexican restaurant in Burbank called MexCocina Cafe, where they have some of the best chilaquiles and cafe de olla. And a day on the weekend we would totally go to a small business pop up to support, here in LA we have many of those happening on the weekends. People who follow me on social media definitely know I love ice cream so an ice cream tour of my favorite places like Afters, Wanderlust Creamery, Slusheeland, Colmelati would definitely have to happen. Weather permitting, a hike would definitely be on the itinerary some of the trails have the best views of The Valley and even DTLA. My favorite hiking spot would have to be the trail behind The Brand Library in Glendale. Visiting La Monarca Bakery, my absolute favorite, and picking up an iced Cafe del Carmen and some conchitas would definitely be a morning stop. Or I would have them go through my Instagram and pick a place as I do share many food and places I visit, my IG is kind of a directory now that I think of it haha.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This is a little cliché to say as a content creator but I would like to thank my community/following on my platforms. Without community there wouldn’t be a lot of progress. From the content engagement to the sweet and kind words, those acts gives us the content creator fuel to keep going. I’d like to thank my dad for always being my right hand man helping me and encouraging me along the way. My “sister” Leslie I met through Instagram for always seeing my potential even when I can’t see it myself. To the growing latina content creator community who are very supportive and encouraging of each other.
