We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
Leave college to pursue music

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
At the moment I am a DJ. Picked it up during the pandemic , was a smooth transition from what I was doing before. I moved back home to SD from Arizona state to pursue music & it was the greatest decision I ever made. Definitely wasn’t easy convincing my family & friends but the journey was worth it. I’ve learned how to maintain relationships with different people that do different things because you never know when you gonna need them down the line . I want the world to know you don’t have to limit yourself creatively

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I stay in north park I always enjoyed north park for its simplicity but creative vibe. Honestly north park , South Park , normal heights they all tend to feel the same but if I have a friend in town I would take them to get some food or a drink . You can turn north park into a all day type of thing to be honest because there’s a lot to do then eat & drink . There’s record stores, book stores , clothing stores , the observatory. North park is dope

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
S/O to my highschool , SDSCPA. (San Diego School of Creative & Performing Arts) If it wasn’t for that school I wouldn’t know how creative I can become
