Hi Chris, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I believe that SD Foodies has become a resource for travelers and locals alike when they ask “What should we do?” or “Where should we go?” I love hearing from my followers when they say that they took my advice and had a great day or phenomenal dinner! With so many restaurants and activities in San Diego it can definitely be overwhelming to pick what to do or where to go. Thats where our curated selection comes in handy! We hope that our selections helps the community find the best spots in San Diego!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
SDFoodies is a local media / influencer company providing food / travel content for over 100,000 followers! We pride ourselves by working with small independent businesses to help get massive exposure as well as working with larger businesses to get the word out!

I knew from the minute I heard the previous owner of SDFoodies was selling the account that I NEEDED it. I had been debating starting my own influencer account but hadn’t found the right idea yet. At the time the account had around 5,000 followers so it was still small, but had an amazing username and I believed that with a little focus and time I could grow it.

Since then its been a massive success, growing over 5,000 a month and reaching over 2,000,000 people a month. Its so exciting seeing the growth and helping businesses along the way!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I would say that my girlfriend Ashley is vital to the success of SDFoodies. She has been the hand model / voice over actor, copywriter, and advice giver since day 1. Now with the success that SDFoodies has gotten its so fun to share the benefits with her!
