Meet Chris Craig | Fitness Genome Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Craig and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Most important thing I’ve done for my business is to give the first 10% of every dollar made in the business to God. My number one goal in life/business is to grow closer to God and become more like Jesus every day.
Jesus spoke a great deal about money as a indicator of where a person’s heart is and I’ve taken it to heart personally.
I do believe it’s true one can’t serve both God and money so it’s been important for me to stay on track by tithing.
Without a doubt I know He has opened doors for the business and supernaturally kept the business growing despite any circumstances.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is a new niche of wellness/recovery/fitness known to some as Biohacking that melds physics and biology. Using state of the art technology to affect next level measurables such as mitochondrial function. The interventions and quantification we specialize in allow us to help people recover from injuries, optimize performance and turn back the clock. We’ve been able to help people that have struggled with other more traditional approaches.
The Fitness Genome approach is entirely based upon the immutable laws of physics and physiology. FG is the perfect place for someone who likes to dig deep into the science and takes responsibility for his or her own health.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would treat my best friend, call her Jen, to a week long intensive at my place, FitnessGenome. We’d start the week with a baseline measure of her body composition including visceral fat, overall % body fat, inflammation and where there is more inflammation in the different segments of her body, phase angle which a measure of cell health and total body water to body weight which gives valuable insight into her body’s response to her environment.
Once we have a baseline we can construct a protocol for the week that could include whole body cold therapy, Redlight therapy, altitude therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, pemf therapy, DC electrical therapy, infrared sauna, neurofeedback, lymphatic massage, eccentric muscle/bone building with ARX machines, concentric training with Proteus 2.0 and neurological rehab with Dr. Nisreen.
Jen will finish a week long intensive much stronger, healthier and armed with greater insight into the current state of her health and how to best continue to optimize her wellness going forward.
She’ll meet a lot like minded people at FG and be able to continue to learn from them should she stay connected.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Mine goes to Coastline Church. Has been my church home since I moved to Carlsbad at the beginning of 2019. Pastor Aaron Jayne is an excellent teacher of God’s Word and his own testimony of breaking the chains addiction has inspired me.
