Hi Caulin, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand has been the consistent and authentic work. The relationship between my audience and I is very strong. I know exactly who I’m talking to, what they like to see/learn, and how to present that content in the most digestible and understandable way possible. I’ve found a comfortable routine that helps me balance my work life with my personal life – while still being able to consistently educate, entertain, and inspire.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Social & Environmental Activist Creator on TikTok. I’ve built a platform of 1.4 Million followers who are genuinely interested in learning about how we can make positive impacts in our local community. I spent consecutive days picking up trash on the beach every morning to show how my audience could make an impact anytime, anywhere in the world. While most of my content revolves around beach/ocean conservation & litter awareness, I’ve also made content about veganism & sustainability swaps.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My absolute favorite place to be in the beach. I was born and raised in St. Pete, Florida. This city is essentially surrounded by water, so I’ve always been drawn to the ocean. Living near the beach is actually how I got started making environmentalism videos. I hated watching people come visit my favorite place in the world, just to leave it trashed. I wanted to anything I could to protect it.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I credit a lot of my success to the people who surround me. I’ve found myself in a very educated and factual based space. When speaking on environmental and social issues its incredibly important to be accurate with your facts. As someone who doesn’t have a science degree, I was very intimidated at first. The members of EcoTok, The Intersectional Environmentalists, and the Ocean Army have been a huge contributor to the success of my brand. I’m incredibly thankful to be surrounded and supported by incredibly intelligent individuals who help back my communication with research and studied facts.
