We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Bowersock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian, how do you think about risk?
Great Question, I learned very early in the start of my business that people that excel in business are willing to take risks, those that do not take risk usually do not excel. I was taught to not get analysis paralysis, if it looks and feels good, then Pull trigger, do not over think it as calculated risk is how you get reward.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I set out to create the highest quality Automotive Service and repair facilities in San Diego county, I started at 23 years old with my first Facility in Escondido, I worked 60 -70 Hours a week for the first 3 years to make sure I was building a great foundation to grow on, From the first location we have now expanded to 5 Locations in the county and employ 45 Quality people. My Background was being a Master Automotive Technician, so with the guidance of my Mentor, I learned how to properly run a business, and I have continued to grow that process. I believe our Brand the West Automotive Group is truly the highest quality Independent Vehicle repair and Service Facilities in San Diego County

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would treat them to an Amazing Dinner at Steak 48, then take them out on the Bay on a friends boat for a day trip to see all of San Diego from the bay, great perspective of the city, Would also visit the La Jolla shores one day to take in all the Beauty.

My Original Mentor, Bob Cooper, met him when I was 23 and he has truly helped turn me into the amazing business person I am, by offering guidance and suggestions and also being an amazing sounding Board.
