We had the good fortune of connecting with Billy Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Billy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is strategic leadership and authentic community engagement. From a young age, I’ve understood the power of leadership, whether through my entrepreneurial journey starting at eight years old, my involvement in Greek life at SDSU, or co-founding Celebrity Entertainment Group LLC with Brian Levett.

My ability to build genuine relationships, understand people’s needs, and create memorable experiences has set my brand apart. Whether it’s curating nightlife experiences in San Diego, organizing large-scale events, or launching a music festival, my success is rooted in vision, adaptability, and a deep connection to the community I serve.

Additionally, resilience and execution play a huge role. I don’t just dream—I take action. I’ve faced challenges, but my ability to pivot, stay disciplined, and keep my focus on the bigger picture has been key to growing my brand and making an impact.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business, Celebrity Entertainment Group LLC, is a premier nightlife concierge service that specializes in curating unforgettable experiences for celebrators in San Diego. Whether it’s a bachelor or bachelorette party, birthday celebration, or a group of tourists looking for the best night out, we ensure that our clients have seamless, elevated, and VIP-worthy experiences.

What Sets Us Apart

What truly differentiates us is our deep-rooted connections, insider access, and personalized approach to nightlife. San Diego is a vibrant city, but navigating its nightlife scene can be overwhelming, especially for celebrators. We take the guesswork out of the equation by providing expert recommendations, exclusive venue access, and tailored experiences that match our clients’ energy and preferences.

Additionally, my background as a community leader and event curator at San Diego State University has allowed me to build authentic relationships with venues, promoters, and industry professionals, ensuring our clients get the best service possible.

What I’m Most Proud of & Excited About

I’m incredibly proud of the impact we’ve had on San Diego’s nightlife and tourism scene. We’re not just facilitating nights out; we’re creating lifelong memories for people who come to celebrate major milestones. What excites me the most is the expansion of our brand into larger-scale events, including a music festival that will bring together music, culture, and community in a way San Diego hasn’t seen before.

Beyond nightlife, I’m also proud to have co-founded a social media company with Novian Cherry, which is focused on helping brands, businesses, and public figures amplify their digital presence. In today’s world, social media is a powerful tool, and we’re dedicated to helping clients maximize their impact through strategic content creation and branding.

The Journey & Challenges

Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. Entrepreneurship comes with its fair share of setbacks—logistical challenges, financial hurdles, and the need to constantly adapt to an ever-changing industry. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that relationships are everything. Building trust and delivering on promises has been key to long-term success.

I’ve also faced moments of self-doubt and exhaustion, but my resilience, strategic thinking, and the unwavering support of my community have helped me push through. The biggest lesson? Success isn’t just about working hard—it’s about working smart, leveraging your network, and staying adaptable.

What I Want the World to Know

I want people to know that Celebrity Entertainment Group is more than just a nightlife service—it’s a movement that brings people together through unforgettable experiences. I’ve always been passionate about creating, leading, and elevating experiences, and this business is a reflection of that.

My story is one of hustle, leadership, and community. From starting my first business at age eight to leading organizations at SDSU, co-founding Celebrity Entertainment Group with Brian Levett, co-founding a social media company with Novian Cherry, and now working toward launching a music festival, every step has been about building something bigger than myself.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to make sure people feel celebrated, connected, and part of something special when they experience San Diego nightlife with us.
