Meet Bailey Tarr | Real Estate Advisor & Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bailey Tarr and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bailey, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
First and foremost, my mindset.
My morning routine consists of reading positive affirmations and writing down my goals every day. This is a non negotiable for me in my life- and the days I dread doing it, are the days I need it the most. I truly believe that I wouldn’t be where I am today without a positive growth mindset.
The other thing that has aided in my success is showing up. Even if you feel like you have nothing to do, you show up and find something to do. There is always someone to check in with, always something you can learn and most importantly, there are always new people to meet.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Being in the business of Real Estate, you have to set yourself apart. YOU are your business and your brand, and I realized that pretty quickly after getting licensed. This is also how I got into Content Creation. There are millions of amazing real estate agents in this world… why is someone going to choose me? Social Media is the perfect outlet to showcase not only my personality, but my work ethic, my dedication to the business and my involvement in my community.
I’ve now grown to a spot on social media where I get reached out to many times a day from potential clients, businesses and people in my community that want to collaborate- all because I got out of my comfort zone.
So what sets me apart? I would say my personality, my brand, and my involvement in not only social media, but the community.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ok, this is my JAM! Firstly, the place I take all my friends & family to first, is Sunset Cliffs. So I’m going to let them settle in, and then take them to Sunset Cliffs for the sunset.
The next day calls for breakfast and coffee at Lofty in Solana Beach, then off to Annie’s Canyon trail for a nice hike. (This is one of the coolest spots I’ve ever seen). Then I’d probably take them t0 Alexanders on 30th in Northpark. The pasta is well deserved after an active day.
On day 3, I’m calling for a beach day in La Jolla. We are definitely stopping at SmallGoods for a sandwich, and taking it to go. Maybe even a coffee from Better Buzz.
Day 4, nothing better than ending the trip with a Padres Game and dinner at Cannonball. Cannonball has amazing sushi and even better views.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I mean, I hate to sound cliche, but my main source of encouragement and confidence comes from my boyfriend, Zach. We have been together since before the thought of Real Estate. He encouraged me to jump into this business, he encouraged me to quit my part time job to go full time into real estate and he encourages me everyday to keep going full force. I would absolutely not be where I am today without his help and support.
