We had the good fortune of connecting with Atb Wavy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Atb, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
You’re closer to obtaining your goal than turning around and giving up it all depends if you still love what you do and know how to enjoy the journey .

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I make music, specifically in the r&b hip hop genre .what sets me apart from other artists is i don’t try and rap like something I’m not , my music and my sound caters to my character and vibe . I put a lot of time into developing my voice & music that i make today. Whether it be recording in a professional studio , garage , my house and etc. it was hard to overcome my own doubts because i didn’t know how i would really sound. Ive learned alot about the business and industry that has really taken my music career higher and higher . I want people to know that my music and vibe is real authentic and is for the ladies and to having a good time .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love food so wherever we can find a good spot , if it’s at Victoria gardens Mall or The Food Lab in Riverside. There is a lot to do out here i usually go to pop up events , concerts , fairs and etc .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out God first, family, friends, myself and everyone close in my circle. Really my father sparked this drive inside of me before he past away and it hasn’t went out since, i feel more goal oriented than ever .
