We had the good fortune of connecting with Arielle Sidney Kenny and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arielle Sidney, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
My work Life Balance has changed drastically. Working full-time and going to school full time was already very time-consuming, Starting a small business during quarantine is not so bad because I don’t have to be at school physically so I get to have a little bit of time working on my business. sometimes I forget to eat and I am tired almost all the time and barely talk to anyone anymore but I like what I do and don’t mind all the work.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As most people know I started making clothes out of quarantine boredom in August 2020 and since then people have encouraged him to keep going. I would say that it was not easy because I had no idea what I was doing, I still struggle a bit and barely have any money, but I’ve stopped second-guessing every decision I make. In my opinion, It is better to fix a mistake than never try something different.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have been in Irvine since September, of 2019 for school, I live on campus and don’t have a car or friends here in Socal, so I haven’t really explored the city. Especially with the pandemic hitting 6 months after I moved here I, unfortunately, wouldn’t know what to recommend other than the Spectrum and some restaurants on Jamboree road. Hopefully, when things open up I will get to explore more.

I would like to shout out Phillip Nguyen and Tony Diego Garcia for being amazing friends and supporting me, Also my teacher Ashlee Espinosa for being the absolute best and always encouraging me.
