We had the good fortune of connecting with Anna Fine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Prior to getting into real estate , I was a nurse for almost 18 years. I love people and I care about them , about their well being, either physical or financial. I truly want everyone to be happy , healthy and wealthy. But I believe people have to chose to do it and take personal responsibility. That is what I did and still doing every day and I want to help other . I was always passionate about home ownership and real estate investment and even while working as a nurse I was always encouraging nurses and doctors at work to buy real estate. I was always feeling surprised and sad learning that those people who work so hard and dedicate their lives to serving others a lot of times are neglecting their own well being. Many people in health care earning good money but not owning homes, let alone investment properties and don’t have any financial planning exempt continue to work until they physically capable. Which is not a good plan 🙂
I was 21 y.o. when my husband and I bought our first home .Time showed that that was the smartest decision we could had made . It was very tough first few years, but that decision set us up to a future success .

So becoming a realtor just seamed natural to me. I already new a lot about real estate as an investor myself and wanted to dive deeper to learn more to be able to help others to rip the benefits of real estate ownership and investing,

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a real estate agent in San Jose California. I help people sell and buy homes in Silicon Valley .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Day 1. We would do to Filoli . Filoli, also known as the Bourn-Roth Estate, is a country house set in 16 acres of formal gardens surrounded by a 654-acre estate, located in Woodside, California, about 25 miles south of San Francisco. This is one of my favorite places in the Bay Area. It is beautiful pretty much in every season. The gardens are full of different flowers , fruit trees, vegetables. The house it self is gorgeous and reminds me Downton Abby. It is so serine and peaceful there. Perfect place for a 1 day gateway from the hectic life of Silicon Valley.

Day 2. We could visit Santana Row.

Total opposite from Filoli. Vibrate and dynamic place. Santana Row is Silicon Valley’s premier outdoor destination for shopping, dining, living and working. Surrounded by landscaped gardens, parks and plazas, Santana Row features over 50 shops, 30 restaurants, the boutique Hotel Valencia and a six-screen movie theatre. There is a very popular Coffee shop and a French Bakery ” Cocola”

Day 3. We can visit Rose Gardens in San Jose and have lunch at one of my favorite vegan restaurant called Vegetarian House that has being open since 1994 and has an extensive menu of healthy a delicious plant based dishes.

Day 4. We can visit a Mystery Spot – The Mystery Spot is a tourist attraction near Santa Cruz, California, opened in 1939 by George Prather. Visitors experience demonstrations that appear to defy gravity, on the short but steep uphill walk and inside a wooden building on the site.

Day 5 A day on the beach. Capitola is one of my favorite places to enjoy the ocean . There are many cute little boutiques, shops, restaurants and coffee shop. We can grab a slice of yummy pizza at Pizza My Heart .

Pizza My Heart was founded right on Capitola Beach, and is still there. It’s now much larger than the average bedroom, but that tiny Capitola restaurant has become a landmark for surfers and beachgoers alike. It is now a large franchise with 25 locations

6. On Saturday morning I love to have breakfast in one my favorite vegan breakfast places Crepe Bistro in Santa Clara. This is the only place that make plant based sweet and savory crapes!

7. And finally on Sunday we would do on a couple hours hike to one of the many beautiful trails – we can go to Rancho San Antonio in Cupertino or Almaden Quicksilver County Park, or Los Gatos Creek trail, which is the trail very close to my house and I go there at least twice a week. It connects Los Gatos and Campbell, Bot of this cities have very authentic and lovely downtowns that definitely worth exploring.

There are so many great dinning places , too many to list.

In evening we can see a play or a musical in Center for the Performing Arts is located in Downtown San Jose. It was designed in 1972 . It is now home to San Jose Dance Theatre and Broadway San Jose.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband Mark and my sister-in-law Mira , are two people who always believe in me and support me . I was very nervous to change career in the middle of my life, but support of these two wonderful people and their believe in my abilities is what kept and still keeps me moving forward.
