We had the good fortune of connecting with Anh Vu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anh, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?

Hi! Absolutely. I recently completed “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. The book outlines 3 core themes that I have applied to my everyday life. One of the themes I really liked was “building identity-based habits.”

Bad habits repeat themselves again and again due to a bad system to change. It’s not because we don’t want to change – The structure to do so is just lacking. The book assisted me in weeding out negative habits, and even some people, to replace them with positive influences that lead me one step closer to my new identity of growth, abundance, and success. You create your own identity through your actions. These actions can shift you to a higher or lower timeline. That’s on you.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

Awe, that is so sweet. Thank you! I am a full-time entrepreneur. I operate Shantivana LLC, my crystal company. I create all the healing jewelry myself and do a lot of local pop-up shops. I also train clients both in person and online under Anh It Fitness LLC. I am a retired IFBB Pro Athlete because I find more fulfillment in running businesses and with coaching lifestyle clients.

My purpose is what’s most important to me, and that is connecting spirituality with physical fitness.

Prior to starting Shantivanha LLC, I was the National Sales Manager for a supp company. Education on products is very important to me, therefore, helping people understand the science behind crystals is very crucial in what I do.

Ima go nerd on y’all for a sec. Crystals have a piezoelectric field that react with your molecules and the environment. Each crystal carries a different frequency/energetic vibration to activate or unblock one, or a few, of the seven chakras.

My unique pieces are the Louis Vuitton of healing crystal bracelets. I use only 20k gold filled connectors. ZERO tarnishing. The way I string and seal the braceelrs is different. That’s an in-house secret… Feel it yourself. *wink* They are indestructible!

It wasn’t easy to get to this point. A lot of people thought I lost my sh*t when I quit my 9-5. The greatest lesson I learned from being a FT Entrepreneur is to shut out the noise and stay true to your vision. If you are into something, a motherf***er out there is into it as well. Let the energy flow into what you want to grow. I make over six figures EVERY month now. I stopped caring what people thought about me. Don’t let negative thoughts inside your mind or to what people have to say about you dictate your life. Stay solid with your morals and values. Keep it pushing, baby.

I want the world to know that my brands are deeper than just jewelry and personal training. After this interview, take a second to look up “Find The Others” written by Timothy Leary. This is why I won’t let my dreams die. God put this in my heart and soul. I can’t fold.

I created Shantivanha after one of the darkest times in my life. I want people to know that through every storm there is hope as long as you walk with Faith. God will help you transmute your pain into creation. Your life into a work of art. Your story into a testament that miracles do happen.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Long Beach right off the ocean! To be honest, we would spontaneously do the exploring on a whim and see where the day takes us. I have been working nonstop since I moved out here. It’s two months in, and I have only checked out two food places. I definitely want to go find some poke by the water and go paddle boarding or hiking! I also really enjoy concerts and museums. Speak to the artist in me and that is all I need for a perfect day

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

I would like to dedicate this shoutout to a few specific people who come to mind.

The first person I can attest my mindset, my work ethic, and my morals to is Dean Romero, a respected mentor turned family. We have known each other for over seven years now. Throughout this entire time, Dean has guided me into becoming the person that I am today by leading through example and standing strong in his faith.

I called him my Jedi Master when I first met him. Both of us have been on quite the journey as individuals, and we discovered within time we both resonate with the “Gray Jedi.” Dean and I walk the line between light and dark. As the Law of Correspondence states, one cannot exist without the other. However, we choose to be good. Through free willm we directed our moral compasses in the right direction, and who we both are has led us to a purposeful, God driven life. Forever am I appreciative for you, Dean. I know I am “Jedi” now, but I’ll always be your Padiwan.

I would also like to dedicate this shoutout to the following mentors and friends – Nick Clements, Josh Iacopetti, Adam and Erica Mai, Andy Frisella, Kyron and Malena, my best friend Natalia, and Nick Reese (RIP).
