Meet Alyssa Simpson | Mindset & Manifestation Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alyssa Simpson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alyssa, what principle do you value most?
A healthy mindset is a critical component of life and entrepreneurship, a large reason I coach mindset and manifestation. Every successful person knows that mindset is 90% of the equation, and we live in a world where it’s not taught enough in our early years. I genuinely believe that if mindset work were taught in our impressionable years, we would have a society full of solid manifesters, people who go out into adulthood, truly creating their dreams into reality.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Before I found my one true love of mindset and manifestation, I was slingin’ pasta and wine for a corporate restaurant chain. I worked my way up from server to manager, then dropped out of that world after losing both my parents within 6 months of each other. Something about that trauma lit a fire under me to shine brighter, live louder, and bring my gifts to the world.
I was that “weird” kid who talked too much about the metaphysical stuff, would spend more time in the new age section at Barnes & Noble than the CD section, listened to Art Bell, and watched bootleg alien abduction VHS’s I’d beg my dad to record for me. Mental mindset musings were my ultimate hobby, and thankfully my parents encouraged it even though no one else my age was into that. I was always told growing up by teachers, friends, parents, family members, and even strangers that I had an old soul. Not really knowing what that even meant, looking back, I can see it so clearly. I have always been the natural mentor for my friends, family, and peers.
When I dropped out of the corporate world, it took me a solid two years to build my coaching business. The shiny overnight success story we see on social media really made my imposter syndrome run wild, but knowing that I was meant for more allowed me to keep pushing through, and the one thing I’d tell myself every day was, “I will only fail if I give up.” I hired a coach myself and finally saw the possbility of what my busienss could be by working on overcoming imposter syndrome, getting clarity around running a coaching business online, and keeping my vision for what I wanted my life tot look like at the center of everything I did. No one tells you how much personal development goes into entrepreneurship, but along the way, I fell in love with myself and knew that I would do whatever it took to help other women fall in love with themselves too.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The first thing I’m doing is taking you on a drive through my favorite backroads to look at the rolling hills and farm life in the area. We will stop to grab a coffee at Rise Coffee & Tea Tx, get tacos at La Reyna and put on a pair of cowboy boots to hit the stockyards! There is no place like Possum Kingdom lake so I’ll drag you there after we dance the night away in the stockyards. PKL is full of deer that will come and eat right out of your hands and the lake is full of beautiful spots to watch the sunset. When we head back to Weatherford, we’re making a stop at Sustainable Soul to get my favorite sustainable products, and you’re sure to grab a few things yourself to take back home with you.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The book that changed my life is The Magic by Rhonda Byrne. I could have never started this venture without the unwavering support and encouragement from my husband, Josh; he’s always seen my potential even when I couldn’t see it myself.
My family and soul sisters who always cheer me on and hype me up, thank you for genuinely wanting to see me succeed.
