Meet Alex Vasquez | Digital Marketer & Small Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Vasquez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alex, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I’ve made more of an effort to prioritize myself and my ability to reset and recover. I’ve begun enforcing stricter boundaries around my availability regarding work and my work partnerships.
I am a big believer in proactively creating time that is “your time.” Blocking out time beforehand is a thing I wish I did a long time ago. It makes such a difference when you intentionally block out time for yourself.
I make time for physical activities, which also act as a form of self care for my mental health—I set aside time for running, going to the gym, and spending time with loved ones like friends and family.
I also try to do things that scare me on a regular basis aka doing things I don’t know how to do, basically become a beginner at something you haven’t tried before.
What should our readers know about your business?
DigiSavvy is a boutique marketing agency that builds custom WordPress websites for businesses. We not only provide web development services, but we also provide search engine optimization, strategy, and implementation, with a focus on lead generation and marketing automation. In addition to WordPress, we also provide Shopify and Shopify plus consulting and ActiveCampaign and Klaviyo Consulting.
What sets us apart from our competition is that we always begin with the business goal in mind and work backward to determine the best business solution that helps our clients achieve their business goals.
Unlike our competition, we guarantee our client’s satisfaction with our work and always quote a fixed fee for our projects. Our clients never pay a dime more than what we quote them; if we miss something, we’ll make it right on our own dime.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I don’t know that I have any better recommendations than anyone else. But got to any taco truck in the city, any place dishing up fresh mariscos for that matter. I think a good taco can be had at the Angels Tacos in LA, there are a few locations but I go to the one in Eagle Rock, by the Target there. Villas Tacos, they serve the blue corn tortillas with their tacos, so good! And then Mariscos El Pescado Loco Restaurant in El Sereno. So good.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
