We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Curiel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Are you prepared to live in a restaurant and say bye to everything ?

What should our readers know about your business?
I just turned 27 in September and I had open more restaurants and nightclubs than teeth’s in my mouth hahaa but the last project is so special because after the pandemic when I build my last restaurant in Mexico with 0 money a project of almost 1 million dollars that down there is huge it went to bankruptcy and I decide to move to San Diego and decide that I was opening a restaurant there with no money no friends didn’t know anyone but how when you repeat yourself everyday something finally happened

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It depends my city is Mexico City but now that I’m living in San Diego

Coronado the Henry couple drinks walking

Watching the sunset in La Jolla

Eating at my restaurant PuntaMar in Encinitas and finally ending the night at my favorite nightclub here Shelter

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely my mother she’s sacrifice everything to give me the best possible life and she taught me that if you can dream it you can do it and always look for things and pursue don’t wait because life’s a game that ends pretty fast

Everything is a lesson and nothing matters in life just the learning process and the story
