Making the decision to run your own business takes courage, determination and understanding the amount of risk. But of all the things I’ve learned so far is to be open to new ways of learning what I thought I already knew. I’ve learned so many valuable lessons and know I have more to learn. The most important so far is how interconnected we all are to each other, the Universe, and Nature. Every day, I get to hold space and be a guide to those who I get to serve. I have learned that I am always going to be a student, no matter how much wisdom I have to offer–I am always learning something new through students and clients about life and myself. Every time I get to work with someone, I feel a familiarity to them, I see myself in them, and them in me; I recognize that at our human essence, we are all the same, no separation.
