Meet Mohamed Hauter | Solar Energy Subject Matter Expert

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mohamed Hauter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mohamed, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
If you don not add something useful to this world, you become a useless addition. I am a true believer that as humans, we must find a balance between making a living and achieving so in a matter that is positively useful to others. Easier said than done, I know! People always fanaticize about what they will achieve if money was not an issue. The truth of the matter is: hard working people are often the ones achieving wealth and accomplishing many of their dreams. I am of course excluding old and inherited wealth.
I have wore many professional hats, but the latest and most useful project is a photovoltaic module production company. I am hoping that it becomes my “useful contribution” to this world. In a time when climate issues are the main topic and people in power have failed to act proactively due to economic and/or political reasons, taking action to help resolve energy problems is of the utmost importance. Clean energy (photovoltaic, thermal, wind, etc.) is the way forward. To avoid the same mistakes of the past where the energy industry is controlled by the few, I am trying to pull my weight in indulging early in the clean energy production race even if the contribution is minute.
Humans have always been able to pull through many challenges, but only when acting together. Our world needs collective actions and awareness from all. Together we can make a difference. I am in, who else?
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Many employees are underappreciated and when it is time to reap the benefits, most of the time, the employers are the true winners. We need to always remember that a car wouldn’t be able to move without the wheels, so we can attribute all the success to the 1000 HP engine. Not to sound like a socialist, but employers must win the loyalty of their employees through a fair compensation and a system where the employees share a reasonable portion of the success they contributed to and achieved.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Interesting question and hard to answer. I would not have a single plan that can fit all. I would rather cater to my friend’s preferences. I have friends who enjoy the outdoors and other who hate walking…
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
No one person can claim reaching the top without the help of others along the way. I have many to thank in my life: My family, friends, mentors, and customers. Listing names is a dangerous game for the fear of forgetting someone.
