We had the good fortune of connecting with Jen Jones Health Coach, Author, Speaker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jen Jones, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
As a mom of four kids, I believe the one thing that has kept our family grounded yet enabled us to soar is establishing a set of core values that steers our life. I believe that I we have less control than we think but more influence than we can imagine. And that influence has the potential to revolutionize the world we live in. This is key to discovering the building blocks of your tribe and loving them well. It holds the power to transform the home we live in. This influence has the ability to set and empower the trajectory of our children’s lives for the better. Establish core values has helped root my kids and enables us to navigate the beautiful messy world around us in a way that is set on intention.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m enthusiastic about meeting people at the point of their potential. I love exploring the dreams they want to fulfill and helping them connect that to strategic next steps to see them become reality. Helping others take control take control of their health, both mentally, physically and spiritually, is where I shine. Often people begin this process by taking physical health steps. I guide them through a structure and system that creates a healthy lifestyle, getting their bodies back in order. In the creation process, I’ve built communities for people to connect and thrive. This happens through digital content subscriptions and social media communities–connecting with people where they live, work and play. This enables them to sustain their new lifestyle changes, as well as find freedom emotionally and financially. The keys to my success and how I have grown into an international leader helping thousands around the country is the decision to stay in my own lane. I have a unique offer and I’ve made the choice to stay open to growth. I look at obstacles as opportunity. My goal is to authentically connect with others to cultivate trust and lead from my future but acting now. I believe my life is made better when I help other people win. And my hope is that my brand has proven this to be true. My organization has been a part of enriching the lives of others and has grown into a thriving business in the process. I’m all about personal transformation. My passion is to guide people on a path to see that transformation take shape in their own lives.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were here we would start the mornings with a walk to my favorite little space at Communal Coffee in my South Park neighborhood. I’d have an americano, but suggest she grab the lavendar latte. If we need a small bite we would settle for the Avacado toast. I’d definitely take her around to all the greatest beaches with a walk along Coronado’s coast line. A hike up Torry Pines and if the weather was right we would grab a tan at the la Jolla cove. Shopping is always my favorite with Fashion Valley as a must see for the higher end and designer looks. But I’d also want to show her the newly renovated UTC in north county. I’d one to spend some time at One Paseo grabbing an ice cream at Salt and Straw. We’d definitely spend a lunch at Liberty Public Market. A few dinners in Little Italy. And of course walk through Balboa Parks Presidio and fine eats in all of Bankers Hill.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I celebrate the life of Thea Wood. We were connected in our early college years. She has been instrumental in my decision to make a pivot in my career and enabled me to embrace a vehicle of health coaching creating my life around what matters most.
