Meet Nathanael Rabbitt | Conscious Body Recovery Founder & CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathanael Rabbitt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nathanael, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Marrying my wife & best friend Anna was easily the best decision I ever made. Her drive & pace for life was a huge activator for me in my own life. When we met in 2021, I was happily living in a camper, having just started my personal training business. Fast forward to 2025, we moved into a 3 bedroom house, got married, & now as of June, we just opened our 2nd location in Temecula for Conscious Body Recovery. & we accomplished all of that TOGETHER.
She pushed me to go further, dig deeper, & give more to myself & my business every single day. She challenges me to be a better man & I would not be where I am today without her. & of course we have lots of fun together too but she’s been the biggest contributor to my success without a doubt.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Conscious Body started as a journal entry back in 2020. I was feeling creative one day & jotted down a name I thought was cool. Below it, I jotted down a bunch of random things that I liked such as yoga, breath work, nature, stretching, trees, music, camping, sports, weight lifting, & so on… I scribbled in my favorite colors, made an attempt at drawing a logo, closed the journal & didn’t think about it again for almost a year & a half.
Fast forward to the end of 2021, I decided I was going to start my own personal training business, & guess what? I had the perfect name for it! Fast forward to 2023, an opportunity presented itself to my wife & I to put a business inside of a subleased space. A lightbulb went off inside my head, I took the reins on the opportunity, & Conscious Body Recovery was born!
What sets our infrared sauna & cold plunge studio apart is the fact that it’s FULLY PRIVATE & also set up to be self serve. Say goodbye to sharing with strangers, at Conscious Body Recovery you’ll have the room all to yourself every time. We couldn’t be more proud of how the rooms turned out aesthetically & just how everything came together at the perfect time. We also could not be more excited to see the growth & expansion of our business as we can see these rooms being literally everywhere across the world.
We believe in the medicine we are providing. Aside from the business aspect of things, the lives we have been able to impact is truly what keeps us going. It feels truly magical… To offer a space where people can come in & out in as little as 25 minutes & feel like a brand new person… It changes peoples days, it changes their weeks, & it changes their lives. We have people come see us for so many reasons; mental health, chronic pain, mold toxicity, health conditions, surgery rehab, weight loss, sports performance, sleep issues, nervous system regulation, alertness, healing from addiction, emotional trauma… & we can help them all! To say this work is fulfilling would be an understatement… We are truly changing lives with temperature… Something that’s been around longer than time itself… Truly amazing.
We got to where we are today by working HARD & believing in ourselves & what we’re doing. We got to where we are by doing right by our customers. I love people, & I want them to feel that every time I speak with them on the phone, & every time they come in for a session. We are not just here to take your money, we’re here to make a difference in peoples lives & in the community. I want people to know that their bodies know exactly how to heal themselves, alls they need is the right environment.. & that is what we provide.
There have been so many challenges, & I’m sure there will be many more, what gets me through them is purpose. This company is now bigger than just myself, people are counting on me, what we are doing matters… & that keeps me going.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
San Diego being a beach town, I would make sure to take my buddy to the beach. Personally I really enjoy Ocean Beach. One of my favorite things to do there after swimming is to walk over to Mike’s Tacos, get a burrito, then across the street for an ice cream waffle sandwich, then you can walk up & down the main strip in Ocean Beach right there & pop into all the little shops.
Definitely need to catch a concert at Bloom nightclub, its smaller but its really nice & I think its just the coolest little spot to catch a show.
Crossing the Coronado bridge is always a must in San Diego, best view of the city & walking by all the houses is always fun to house watch the beautiful homes.
I’d also have to get some friends together for some spike ball on the beach. Mission beach by the volleyball courts is our favorite spot to have a sports day. Bring a speaker & a cooler & let the games begin.
Best sunset spot might be Sunset Cliffs, sometimes you’ll even see the seals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother & father Pat & Julie have dedicated their entire lives to their children. They both worked so hard & found a way to provide for their 5 kids. They never quit, they never gave up, & they never made excuses. My mom would come home from work every day & cook home made dinner for the whole family. She was always in the best mood even after long days or during the most mundane tasks, it seemed like nothing could get her down. I certainly get my creativity, presence, & optimism for life from her.
My father would finish work every day & then take me to hockey practice where he was usually the coach. He instilled in me from a very young age, rock solid principles that I live by to this day & look forward to passing down to my own children in the future. He taught me that my word is my bond, he taught me the difference between not honoring my word & lying (big difference), he taught me to focus on my work ethic & not the result, he taught me to always do the right thing. With my father, everything was a learning lesson, I used to get annoyed when I was younger, but now as a man, I am infinitely grateful for the lessons he instilled in me. I can only imagine how lost I’d be without the moral & spiritual compass he instilled in me.
So shoutout to my mother & father Pat & Julie who continue to support me with love & wisdom in all my endeavors. I would not be the man I am today without them.
