Meet Arthur Romero | Founder | CEO | Head Performance Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Arthur Romero and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Arthur, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
At BEAST Sports Performance, we’ve built more than a training facility — we’ve built a community. Our mission is to develop athletes physically, mentally, and emotionally through science-backed training and real mentorship.
We focus on creating an environment where athletes compete with each other, not against each other — fostering teamwork, accountability, and confidence. By partnering with local schools and families, we provide youth with the tools and support to grow into strong, resilient leaders both on and off the field.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At BEAST Sports Performance, we do more than just train athletes — we develop the whole person. Our mission is to help youth and high school athletes build strength, speed, and confidence while learning the mindset needed to succeed in sports and in life. What sets us apart is our culture — we’ve built an environment where athletes compete together, not against one another. That sense of leadership, accountability, and purpose is what makes BEAST different.
I’m most proud of the impact we’ve had in the community. We’ve trained athletes who’ve gone on to succeed at the next level, but more importantly, we’ve helped young men and women develop character, discipline, and belief in themselves.
The journey to get here hasn’t been easy. I started BEAST from the ground up — no investors, no shortcuts — just a deep belief in the mission and a relentless work ethic. There were times where the odds were stacked against me, but I stayed committed to serving athletes and letting results speak. I learned to stay patient, stay consistent, and trust the process — the same things we preach to our athletes.
What I want the world to know is this: BEAST isn’t just a gym. BEAST is the future. We’ve created a highly competitive, gamified training environment where every aspect of performance is measurable, trackable, and driven by progress. From the moment an athlete joins our program, they’re immersed in a culture that builds better athletes, better teammates, and better people. Our story is one of resilience, evolution, and empowering the next generation with the mindset and tools to chase greatness — on and off the field.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Start the day with a grind up Nike Hill, then unwind with some sun and waves at Malibu or Manhattan Beach — or take in the city views at Vista Hermosa Park. Wrap up the day with fresh seafood from San Pedro Fish Market or street tacos on Whittier Blvd. End the night at Griffith Observatory watching the stars and city lights, then take a late-night drive on the freeway around Downtown L.A.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to take a moment to recognize a few individuals who’ve played a meaningful role in my journey and in shaping BEAST Sports Performance.
Chris Rix was one of the first to believe in me and helped open doors early in my career. Lester Spellman, Tony Holler, and Alex Hormozi have each influenced my approach in different but powerful ways — from speed training philosophy to leadership, business, and mindset. I’m grateful for their guidance, example, and the impact they’ve had on the way I coach and lead today.
