Meet Eli Carrillo

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eli Carrillo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eli, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make as an entrepreneur was choosing between the security of a steady 9-5 income or chasing my dreams—uncertain of when my next paycheck would come but trusting and having faith that everything would fall into place. It meant sacrificing family time and holidays, working long hours, and pushing forward even when I didn’t see immediate results. But in the end, perseverance and belief in my vision made it all worthwhile.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My name is Eli Carrillo I am a real estate professional, entrepreneur, and on-camera personality with over 16 years of experience across television, radio, film, and music.
Currently as a licensed luxury realtor in California, I have built a strong reputation within the entertainment industry, working with music producers, entertainers, and other industry professionals. Leveraging my extensive network and deep understanding of the Los Angeles market, I have facilitated 40 successful transactions in the past two years, working alongside top 1% producing agents. My commitment to client satisfaction, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex transactions have solidified my status as a trusted and results-driven real estate professional.
Beyond real estate, I have an extensive career in entertainment. I began as an on-camera talent for various television networks before securing key on-air roles with 90.7 FM, Dash Radio, and Power 106 in Los Angeles. Throughout my career, I collaborated with renowned figures, including Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, contributed to major productions, and toured with top artists, offering expertise in content creation, music, and business.
My influence extends to social media, where I have cultivated a substantial following. My YouTube presence and viral content, particularly in collaboration with my sister, have amassed hundreds of thousands of views. My brand partnerships—including a notable collaboration with Pringles—underscore my versatility and impact as a content creator. Additionally, my e-commerce brand, EliCarrillo.Shop, has successfully sold hundreds of branded merchandise pieces to dedicated fans across the U.S. and Mexico.
The path hasn’t always been easy. Balancing multiple industries while carving out my own lane required resilience, adaptability, and a constant willingness to evolve. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of staying authentic while pushing boundaries. Whether I’m closing a multi-million-dollar real estate deal, producing content, or building my e-commerce brand, I’m always focused on delivering value and staying true to who I am.
Ultimately, I want the world to know that my story is one of hard work, versatility, and passion. I’m committed to expanding my presence across real estate, media, and the Latin American market while continuing to break barriers and inspire others to pursue their ambitions without limits

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As an LA native, I love showing friends around and giving them a mix of iconic landmarks and hidden gems. If a friend were visiting for a week, I’d curate an itinerary that captures the best of Los Angeles. We’d start with must see attractions like Hollywood Blvd, Griffith Observatory, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica Pier etc. these are a must see for any first time visitor. I’d also include unique experiences like biking from Santa Monica to Venice Beach, and catching the sunset at a rooftop restaurant like Perch for stunning city views. I always aim to give my friends a well-rounded, unforgettable experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have never been fond of the word ‘fans.’ While that may be the common term, I prefer to refer to them as my audience and supporters. With that in mind, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported me throughout the years in any of my projects. I am nothing without you!
