Meet Emily Friszell | Photographer and Mother

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emily Friszell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emily, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My work has a profound impact on the community by preserving cherished memories and strengthening personal connections. My work captures milestones, emotions, and relationships that people will treasure for generations. It helps people relive their happiest moments, offering nostalgia and emotional warmth.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am more set apart because I take time with all and every client that comes my way, I never want my clients to leave a session feeling discouraged that there “wasn’t enough time to warm up” or “get the perfect shot” I’m here to capture what I like to call ‘golden moments’ and sometimes that means staying a little longer for the kiddos or couples to warm up and really feel themselves. I am proud of my continued growth, every time I leave a session there is something I take from it, sometimes it’s how to work with the kiddos better and sometimes it’s how to pose clients better that feels more authentic.
I want people to know I capture genuine love and connection in a timeless way. I strive to make everyone feel beautiful infront of my lens and most of all I capture photographs that will tell stories for generations to come.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well being in San Diego we would start with Coronado Beach, it is such a beautiful, family friendly Beach while also having so many yummy places to eat. We would then make our way to Balboa Park and admire the beauty in the architecture there. For food we would go to every Mexican restaurant there is because no one does Mexican food better than San Diego.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Aubree Belle Photography – I have been following her for years and constantly is someone I look up to in the photography world. Her work is incredible and I aspire to be more like her
