Meet Kyle Depweg | Founder of Dirt N Fuel Co.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyle Depweg and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kyle, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Dirt N Fuel Co. is a contemporary apparel brand dedicated to offering stylish, sustainable, and affordable clothing tailored for off-road enthusiasts, young professionals, motorcycle riders, and the racing community. Our mission is to redefine fashion by merging cutting-edge design with eco-conscious practices. Backed by a unique value proposition, a skilled team, and a robust go-to-market strategy, we are poised to capture a significant share of the off-road and motorcycle markets within the next five years.
Dirt N Fuel Co is more than a clothing brand—it’s a movement with a purpose. We are committed to raising awareness about the mental health challenges faced by Veterans and individuals from all walks of life. Our mission is to spark compassion, foster meaningful conversations, and create a positive impact for those affected by mental health issues.
Through innovative and thoughtfully designed apparel, we inspire people to wear their values while supporting a cause that matters. A portion of every purchase directly benefits two impactful organizations: the Veteran MX Foundation, which offers specialized care and resources for Veterans, and the Fundamental Health Organization, dedicated to promoting mental well-being for all.
By blending fashion with advocacy, Dirt N Fuel provides a platform where every purchase amplifies awareness and funds actionable solutions. Together, we are working to break the stigma surrounding mental health and build a more compassionate world—one piece of clothing at a time.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Some obstacles I’ve had to overcome include the fear of failure, stepping into the unknown of starting a business on my own, and figuring things out along the way. From building my own website to creating merchandise I hope people will love, every step has been a learning experience. But I reminded myself that taking the chance is worth it—so here we are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Viewpoint Brewing Co. I work there and I still love to go there on my days off and enjoy! Petco Park and the Padres!!!! Lets Go Padres! K1 Speed, for a thrill of racing in the city. Anywhere in Oceanside!!!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
About eight years ago, I started working at Viewpoint Brewing, a job that I still hold today. This place has been more than just a job—it’s been an incredible networking opportunity, introducing me to people who have shaped my path in ways I never expected. One of the investors at Viewpoint started a nonprofit called Fundamental Health. Watching him overcome challenges and dedicate himself to helping others truly inspired me.
I’ve always been someone who wants to support and uplift those around me, and in recent years, he has been a guiding force in my own journey toward mental well-being. His impact on me sparked a realization—I wanted to give back in my own way, to the community I know best: the off-road world. Motorcycles have always been my therapy, providing me with an escape to disconnect, reflect, and recharge. I have a deep passion for helping others find that same sense of freedom and healing through riding.
With that in mind, I set out to raise awareness for both Fundamental Health and MX for Vets, a cause close to my heart. I have immense respect for those who have served our country, and I can’t begin to imagine the mental battles some of them face. One night, an idea hit me—what if I sold shirts and small merchandise? Could I make a difference? Could I help bring more attention to these organizations? Could I put a smile on someone’s face?
I live by the motto: I would rather try and fail than fail at trying. So, I decided to go for it. Even if I only help one person, even if I stumble along the way, I’m committed to giving it my all—to help, to promote, and to keep the good times rolling.
Welcome to Dirt N Fuel—where passion meets purpose.
