We had the good fortune of connecting with Janet Gomez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Janet, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I see risk-taking as essential for personal and professional growth. Over the past year, I’ve actively pursued what I want, removing self-doubt and embracing opportunities. As a Latina, it’s been about stepping out of my comfort zone, recognizing my worth, and being confident in my abilities. I’ve learned that calculated risks open doors to new opportunities and build resilience. For example, I have reached out to people I would’ve never done so before in fear that they would say no. All of them have said yes to me. Overall, risk-taking has been transformative, allowing me to break through limitations and confidently pursue my goals.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity. I’ve made it my passion to foster and support my community, which has been the driving force behind my success. Without them, I wouldn’t have achieved so much.

In my role in social media management, I prioritize getting to know my clients on a personal level. Authenticity is the key to ensuring that they authentically represent themselves on their platforms. This approach has led to strong connections and meaningful content.

My journey hasn’t been without challenges, but I’ve learned that perseverance is important. Overcoming obstacles has taught me resilience and adaptability.

I want the world to know that my brand is built on the foundation of authenticity, community, and a personalized approach. I’m excited about the genuine connections I create and the impact it has on my clients’ online presence and brand identity.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I absolutely love this question, especially in a city as diverse as Los Angeles! Here’s a week-long itinerary:

Day 1-2:
Visit Disneyland, a must for our Disney-loving family.
Enjoy brunch at Toast in Downey.
Explore Long Beach, with a stop at Fuego for a memorable dinner.

Day 3-4:
Dine at renowned spots like Bestia and Bavel.
Fuel up with coffee dates at Milk + Cookies in South Gate and explore coffee shops in downtown LA.

Day 5:
Enjoy a scenic hike, perhaps in Griffith Park.
Take a fun paint and sip class to unleash our creativity.

Day 6-7:
Spend a day exploring the diverse neighborhoods of LA.
Go window shopping and soak in the beautiful atmosphere of the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my entire community for their support and encouragement throughout my journey. A special thank you to my husband and daughters, as they are the driving force behind my achievements. Their presence and support serve as my constant motivation in everything that I do.
