We had the good fortune of connecting with Josh Grimm and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Josh, what makes you happy? Why?
To me, I have had experienced moments of total happiness and utter sadness or dissatisfaction. I thing both can be on extreme ends of the spectrum and it’s important to understand that both emotions are fleeting.

I find that my feeling of happiness is strongest when I have a work/life balance in check- my relationships are thriving just as strong as my business. That makes me feel balanced and in control…. Happy.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My brand is more than being a fitness and health coach. It has a massive wellness approach to it through my years of mindful practices of meditation and following the principles of the law of attraction. I like to encourage my clients and following to take certain approaches in their life and lifestyle in the way that I do- with mindfulness leading the way and the day!

I’m looking forward to the next step that FITNUT is undergoing. I am currently getting a Life Coaching certification and I will specialize in the niche of creating a successful fitness business and brand. It will be an offering for those just beginning to undertake the path that I am on.

And, most excitingly for me, I have just signed on with the most amazing management platform that is helping me to create a dynamic, new online experience offering to support my online business. I’m really excited about this!

I want everyone that is interested in learning more about me to know that my ideas for my work are constantly changing and evolving. My challenge has often been how to implement my ideas or to find the drive to. However, the timing will always happen when it’s supposed to. And currently, my drive is strong!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have a love for my city, New York. I’m a downtown boy- below 14th street and that’s where I spend the majority of my time.

I love the Hudson River park for all the magnificent architecture alongside the communities of West Chelsea (where I live), the Meat Packing district, West Village, and TriBeCa. I wouldn’t stay in NYC if I couldn’t be so close in proximity to these places. The vibe of the art galleries, expensive condos, and fabulous restaurants give this area a special experience for any visitor.

Currently, I’m a weekly diner at a place next to my apartment called Cucina Alba…. The pasta and decor is to die for.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I can’t imagine having a single person or thing to give a shout-out to that has been my total support, mentorship, love, and encouragement. There are so many and they change quite frequently.

I think at the moment I am driven a lot by my ex partner, now one of my closest men in my life, Amman Carver. He has always been an inspiration to me as a career-driven massive success and I carry him with me everyday.
