How did you choose a creative path?

Deciding to pursue an artistic or creative career path isn’t for the faint of heart. Challenges will abound, but so many of the artists we speak with couldn’t be happier with their choice. So, we asked them about how they made the decision in the first place.
I’ve always been more on the artistic side as I was introduced to it from a young age and let’s say, it always flowed through me because of genes too. When I had my first massage, I had a spiritual experience. I used to suffer from chronic low back chronic pain until a friend of mine who was working as a massage therapist gifted me my first session. It was during that session when I received a spiritual experience and realized the power of being touched in a healthy, safe and pain free way. Art has always been important to me; it has played a lifetime role in my well-being.. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be an actor and singer and I did many musical performances throughout my life. Other art forms such as writing and poetry came naturally to me. I also dabbled in painting and drawing, The theme of my life has been that creativity, takes me home to my authentic self no matter where I am in life. Read more>>
