My art is influenced by many different variables. For example, you may drive down and see a dry empty field and not think of much. When I see that empty dry field, I think of all the possibilities and ways I can create art from it. The wide variety of sessions I can create with that one field are endless. As a queer archivist and historian, I am inspired by the stories of those who have come before us. Seeing different versions of myself and other queer and trans people in different time periods, especially in time periods where it has not been heavily documented, helps remind me that we have always existed and that we exist everywhere. I am the Founder and Executive Director of Green Rose Productions, a non profit organization with the mission of creating events to help those with disabilities find their purpose and independence through the arts.
